Question by GetLucky: Are intrusive, morbid thoughts about killing yourself and hurting the ones you love a symptom of depression?
I have borderline personality disorder as well as major depressive disorder. Lately I have been suffering from unwelcome and scary morbid thoughts about hurting myself and the ones I love. I know I would never act on them as I’m not a sociopath and violence repulses me. However, these thoughts are alarming and making my depression so bad that I can barely function.
Are these thoughts symptomatic of depression?
