If you are programming your own worksheet you essentially have to know how to do it on paper. You set up your formula(s) just the way you would to do it on paper. The difference is the computer does the arithmetic for you. If the formula is correct then the answer will always be correct. Lastly, you can give the worksheet to someone who may not be a math whiz and they will achieve the same results as a genius.
Bottom line to your question is if you can’t do it on paper you won’t be able to create it on a worksheet.
