Enlighting hope | Alumbrando la esperanza

I cannot avoid thinking in hope. It’s clear it is a desire of light, or of search of light. And, precisely light, needing it. Especially in times of darkness, due to whatever reason it may be. Do we need darkness, so that hope and search of light appear? Is this the reason for existing suffering? Or, … won’t there be any other sources for hope? I’m sure you can think of some of them. Right?
No puedo evitar pensar en la esperanza. Sin duda se trata de un deseo de luz, o de búsqueda de luz. Y, … precisamente luz, por necesitarla. Especialmente en tiempos de oscuridad, por el motivo que sea. ¿Necesitamos la oscuridad, para que aparezca la esperanza y búsqueda de luz? ¿Será esta la razón por la que existe el sufrimiento? O, … ¿no habrá otras fuentes para la esperanza? Seguro que se te ocurren unas pocas. ¿A que sí?

We live, probably, in the most individualistic moment in the history of humanity. There hasn’t been as much facility for communications as there has ever been, but even though, the real communication, the deep one, the true one, is little. We live in the most comfortable than ever the human being has had, and even though we are quickly depleting our planet’s resources. There’s a big awareness for poor people, and to erradicate hunger, and slaveries, … and even though we are in the midst of a global financial crisis provoked by the biggest greed.
But the human being is more than these errors. Much more. Sometimes one may have the temptation to fall down under these human problems, and to desist. But there is always hope, always while there is life, and this must be our strength. A little bit of silence in this quick life always helps. Silence, praying, hope, faith.

Vivimos, quizá, en el momento más individualista de la historia de la humanidad. Existe la mayor facilidad para comunicaciones que ha habido nunca, pero sin embargo, la comunicación real, profunda, de verdad, se ha reducido. Vivimos con la mayor comodidad que el ser humano ha tenido nunca, pero sin embargo estamos agotando rápidamente los recursos del planeta. Hay una gran concienciación por los pobres, y por eliminar el hambre, y las esclavitudes, … y sin embargo estamos inmersos en una crisis económica global provocada por la más pura avaricia.
Pero el ser humano es más que estos errores. Mucho más. A veces uno puede tener la tentación de desfallecer ante estos problemas humanos, y desistir. Pero siempre existe esperanza, siempre mientras haya vida, y esta debe ser nuestra fuerza. Un poco de silencio en esta rápida vida siempre ayuda. Silencio, oración, esperanza, fe.
Consciencia global.
