Macau is a wonderful city with beautiful architecture and casinos. While there are lots of sights, my visits to Macau have always consisted of me visiting the casinos and spending the majority of my time (and money) there.

This was one of the few attempts I made to capture Macau (outside of a Casino) and regrettably, it’s still a photograph of the Venetian, one of the larger casinos on the Cotai Strip.

About the shot
3 shot HDR handheld with a 10-22mm lens. Processed in Photomatix, Photoshop and Topaz. Removed noise with Noise Ninja.

One of my students, Anne Walker, made this hat from silver wire and pearls.

I can promise that on a dainty head with hair, it looks really beautiful.
